Cheering him on is his high school sweetheart and fiancée, Zo Caswell, who has shown off her gameday outfit, which is a No. 5 Browns jersey, though Gabriel will be wearing No. 8 for the Browns after Kenny Pickett was traded.
The two have been dating since middle school, with Caswell going to whichever team he plays for, famously moving from Oklahoma to Oregon after he transferred ahead of his senior year. When he was drafted by Cleveland, she once again went with him and was seen cheering for him during the preseason.
Dillon Gabriel proposed to her on a beach last year, with the couple celebrating their one-year anniversary of being engaged last month. He was still a senior quarterback for Oregon back then.
Caswell has admitted that she hated travelling and was not fond of road games, though she often showed up to cheer for Oregon despite the fact. Because she had been dating him for so long, she understood the pressure that was put on his shoulders when he played for Oregon, as she explained in an interview:
“I think they have so much pressure on them, Dillon and the team. We forget to have fun at times. There’s so much pressure. You always want to win, you want to be perfect, but you want to look back in 20 years and be like, ‘Wow, that was a really cool time in my life,” she said.
The Cleveland Browns’ training camp was dominated by one question: Who would be the next starting quarterback? It was a four-way race between veterans Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco and rookies Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders. Flacco ultimately got the starter job, with Pickett soon getting traded, and Sanders and Gabriel becoming backups.
Zo Caswell May Have Already Revealed Their Wedding Date
As Dillon Gabriel was busy with his NFL career, Zo Caswell handed out gift boxes to potential bridesmaids and asked them if they could be one for her upcoming wedding with Dillon Gabriel. Inside the box were some self-care items, as well as a candle.
That candle featured the numbers “06.28. 26.” Many are speculating that this is the planned wedding date, which will be on June 28, 2026, which means that they could be planning a June wedding. There is a belief that couples get good luck in their relationship if they get married in June.
