Deion Sanders Jr. recently asked his father, Deion Sanders, for some Coach Prime shoes. Despite his father’s answer —or lack thereof—Deion Sanders Jr. ended up taking them anyway, without his father knowing.
In the Sanders household, wearing someone else’s shoes can quickly become a headline, mainly if those sneakers belong to the patriarch himself. During a recent episode of the Well Off Media YouTube channel, Sanders Jr., the eldest son of Coach Prime, found himself in the middle of a lighthearted controversy.

Deion Sanders Jr. Asks for Coach Prime Shoes, Ends Up Stealing Them Anyways
During a recent episode of the Well Off Media YouTube channel, Sanders Jr., Coach Prime’s oldest son, found himself in the middle of a lighthearted controversy.
The former Jackson State player, Sanders Jr., was seen wearing sneakers that clearly weren’t his but his dad’s. Sanders Jr. knew exactly what was coming. While the moment was meant to be lighthearted, it sparked plenty of discussion about how the family balances business, family, and very high standards.
“I didn’t ask him to wear these. But, at the same time, everybody else steals shoes, and he doesn’t get mad at them,” Sanders Jr. explained. “You’re not gonna not get mad at Travis and Shedeur and then get mad at me. That don’t make sense. If he does, that’s some he shot.”
When Sanders finally saw his son, Coach Prime delivered the type of lecture you’d imagine a father would. It contained equal parts of critique and comedy. He scolded his son for the sneaker theft and called him out for neglecting some more essential responsibilities that he had.
“Dog, you gotta stop. You gotta stop, though. Boy, you gotta stop,” Sanders told his son. “Why did you go to the school and get those, but you ain’t put no post up? You better post something!”
Deion Jr. learned a very valuable lesson: Don’t steal something from your father and not post about it on social media, and if Coach Prime finds out, don’t expect him to hold back.

While still a family, the Sanders family has become very business-oriented. With Shedeur Sanders heading to the NFL, Coach Prime remaining the head coach of Colorado, and Sanders Jr. being a photographer of sports, mainly Colorado, it’s a very business-oriented but loving family.
