Just on the second day of spring sessions, two Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes players got into a tussle, erupting in a physical brawl. The incident took place between former FSU/current Colorado wide receiver Hykeem Williams and cornerback Cree Thomas.
The two traded blows on each other’s helmets and required other teammates to step in and de-escalate the situation.
Fans commented on the fight with hilarious reactions and suggestions.
“Deion gotta keep his boys in check,” one fan wrote.

“Why are y’all acting like this ain’t normal lmao it’s a physical sport and they’re going up against each other a fight is bound to happen,” one fan noted.

“I watched every practice that Colorado gives out and that nigga Deion don’t gaf… rip them boys 😭😭😭” another fan added.

Previously, Deion Sanders spoke in favor of having physical altercations as it is part of the game’s competitive culture. This happened a couple of years ago during a heated practice session early in his tenure at Colorado. Sanders criticized those players who ignored the altercation and walked away instead of backing up teammates.
Deion Sanders Introduces Fines and Punishments For Colorado Players
Earlier in January, Deion Sanders revealed the new rules that were in place at Colorado’s football facility to ensure discipline and timeliness. As per the new rules, people are attracting a fine upon arriving late or failing to attend team activities.
Moreover, the new policy also restricts players from wearing gears of their former teams. Fines will range from $400 for being late to $2500 upon missing practice. Moreover, public or social media misconduct carries penalties of up to $5,000.
Sanders has also mentioned that using profanity will not be allowed outside of the meeting room and especially in the dining area
Sanders ‘ introduction of fines is the first of its kind. The head coach is taking all the measures to instill discipline, accountabilty and professionalism within the team.
