The name of the game in college sports is NIL and we’re living in Beck’s reality nowadays as sports fans. It was reported by Front Office Sports through Atlanta Autos that Georgia’s signal-caller recently purchased a Lamborghini Urus Performante, a car that reportedly starts at $270,000.

Beck, last season’s starting quarterback who replaced Stetson Bennett, led the Bulldogs to a 13-1 record a year ago. After spurning a potential run at the 2024 NFL Draft, Beck will be showing up in style to Georgia home games this fall.

According to Lamborghini’s website, the Urus Performante is for ‘bar raisers only,’ something that Beck could classify as for sure.

In the 2023 season, his first as the starter, Beck started all 14 games and threw for nearly 4,000 yards. By season’s end, he had accounted for 28 total touchdowns, putting to rest the much-scrutinized quarterback battle that kicked off Georgia’s season a year ago.

Despite not making it into the College Football Playoffs, it was clear that Beck could lead the Bulldogs with much ease. They missed out on a chance to defend their back-to-back national championships, but with Beck’s stylish return to the field this fall, they’ll be one of the odds-on favorites to run the table in the new 12-team playoffs.

Beck’s 3,941 passing yards were second in Georgia history but featured a higher per-game average than Bennett did during his record season of 4,127 passing yards in 2022. That record is within reach for Beck and the Bulldogs on the field this fall.

Off the field, however, there’s no telling how high Beck’s star will shine in his new Lambo.
