Much has been made about the relationship between North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. But Belichick did his best to put those rumors to sleep recently.

Belichick appeared on Good Morning America recently to chat about everything that has to do with Hudson.
“She’s been very helpful to me. She does the business things that don’t relate to North Carolina…I’m not talking about personal relationships,” the coach said.

The eight-time Super Bowl winner appears to be in a very good place and is focused on winning down in Chapel Hill. He also acknowledged during the interview how he is focused on learning more about the college game as he goes.
That includes the rules, recruiting, and overall strategy as he looks to bring plenty of success to North Carolina.
Will North Carolina Be Able to Win Big in 2025?
The answer to that question remains to be seen at this point in time. Of course, the school is looking to win its first-ever national title in football.
Additionally, the team has won 10 or more games in a season just once in the last quarter-century. If you are looking to swing for the fence and try to bring in a winning culture, you can’t do much better than hiring Bill Belichick.
However, the question will be whether hiring a first-time college head coach is the way to go or not. Tar Heel fans will get an answer in the coming months when they kick off the season against TCU.
It will also be interesting to see how North Carolina stacks up against teams such as Miami, Clemson, SMU, and even the Syracuse Orange.
Each of these teams won 10 or more games a season ago and has likely improved in some form or fashion. It isn’t as if Belichick is joining a smaller conference with less competition among the teams.
