‘Obsession’ star Inde Navarrette was spotted in the stands at Citi Field, sporting a Mets jersey during the series finale against the Red Sox on Sunday. The 25-year-old also wore a Mets hat and was in good spirits until, unfortunately for the home side, they botched the game at the death, losing 3-2 and, with that, getting swept at home once again this year.
Fans spotted Navarrette in the stands and were quick to share their hilarious reactions, which mixed her character’s name with dialogue from the horror flick and took a dig at the Mets’ poor form this season. New York ended the first half of the campaign at 40-57, sitting at the bottom of the NL East division.
Francisco Lindor delivered quality at-bats in the game, giving the home side a decisive 2-0 lead, but then made a costly error in the ninth that allowed the Red Sox to tie the game and eventually win it in extra innings.

Lindor was asked to reflect on the game and his untimely infield error, which could have led to an inning-ending double play and would have prevented a heartbreaking series sweep at home.
“Yeah, it is unacceptable. They shouldn’t be happy where we are and how we are playing and how I’m playing. We just have to continue to fight. At the end of the day, that’s the only thing we can do. And we’re going to try to be better. We’re going to play as hard as we can in the second half, and hopefully we put ourselves in a much better position. Because right now, it’s not where we want to be,” Lindor said.
After the All-Star break, the Queens’ pride will hit the road, playing back-to-back series against the Phillies and Brewers before opening a 10-game homestand against the Dodgers, Braves, and Marlins.
