Texas quarterback Arch Manning had a bad start to his season against Ohio State in Week 1. While many fans and analysts expressed concern, there was confidence that he would bounce back in Week 2 against San Jose State. However, early in the game, Manning showed some of the issues that plagued him in Week 1. Notably, he nearly threw an interception early in the first quarter.

Arch Manning Overcame a Slow Start To Lead a First Quarter Scoring Drive Against San Jose State
While fans jumped on the near interception by Arch Manning early in the game and started posting memes, Manning quickly recovered. On the Longhorns’ third drive of the game, he completed an 83-yard TD pass to Parker Livingstone to open the scoring.
On the play, Manning made a nice pass to open wide receiver Parker Livingstone. Livingstone then made a few moves to get by defenders before running down the field for a TD.
