At first glance, the Arizona 2024 football schedule appears to consist of 10 in-conference matchups, but things aren’t as they seem. After opening up against the New Mexico Lobos and the North Arizona Lumberjacks, they travel to Manhattan to face the Kansas State Wildcats.
This game against the 2022 Big 12 Champions will be a non-conference matchup as it was initially scheduled when Arizona was a member of the Pac-12. So, rather than being the first of their Big 12 matchups in 2024, it will be the final non-conference clash before the Wildcats get into their nine-game conference slate.
Importantly, that removes one of the most significant obstacles for the Wildcats to make it to Arlington. As such, the Big 12 slate of the Arizona 2024 football schedule is manageable. Brent Brennan’s team goes on the road to face the Utah Utes, TCU Horned Frogs, UCF Knights, and BYU Cougars — three of which finished with losing records last season.

The Arizona 2024 football schedule begins and ends in Tucson, with the Wildcats hosting their bitter rival Arizona State Sun Devils in the season finale. In between the season opener against New Mexico and the Territorial Cup matchup, Arizona will host the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Colorado Buffaloes, Houston Cougars, and West Virginia Mountaineers.
