Former Miami Hurricanes guard Haley Cavinder recently shared that she was supporting her boyfriend in his preseason game in her own personalized way. On Saturday, April 16, Cavinder posted on her Instagram account through a series of stories that she was in attendance live for her fiancé, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson, as he and coach Brian Schottenheimer’s squad take on the Baltimore Ravens in the 2025 NFL preseason.
What’s striking about Cavinder’s Instagram update of her watching a Cowboys’ preseason game is her outfit. The Gilbert, Arizona, native showed off her outfit, where she was wearing a navy blue tank top with a chic design of the Dallas Cowboys, with a helmet and different fonts for lettering. Cavinder then coupled the fit with denim shorts and a personalized necklace to show her full support of Ferguson and his whole team.

She then added another photo of her story of the whole AT&T Stadium, which is Ferguson and the Cowboys’ home pitch which is where they were playing out the preseason game against coach John Harbaugh’s Ravens.

Unfortunately for Cavinder, Ferguson and the whole Dallas faithful, the Cowboys ended up losing the preseason game against the Ravens on their home field by 18 points, 31-13. Ferguson ended up not playing the game as he is still dealing with a back contusion he suffered in early August, but was in attendance on the sidelines to cheer on his team. The likes of Cooper Rush and rookie Tyler Loop ended up leading Baltimore.
Ferguson is expected to return to playing duties soon, much to the delight of Cavinder and the rest of the Cowboys faithful. Dallas is expected to have one more preseason game, still in the AT&T Stadium on Aug. 22 against the Atlanta Falcons, as their 2025 NFL campaign officially commences on Sep. 4 in the defending champions Philadelphia Eagles’ home field, as Ferguson is hopeful to play.
For Cavinder, she just wrapped up her five-year college basketball career in the 2024-25 season. She spent the last two years of her tenure with coach Tricia Cullop’s Hurricanes, and ended her final campaign with an overall record of 14-15 (4-14 ACC).
