Dallas Wings vs Chicago Sky Projected Starting Lineups and Injury Reports Tonight (May 20) | 2026 WNBA Season

The Chicago Sky begin a four-game homestand with several competitive teams coming to Wintrust Arena, starting with the Dallas Wings on Wednesday night. Tonight marks the first meeting between the two teams this season. The Sky are on a six-game win streak against the Wings, with Dallas last defeating Chicago on May 16, 2024.

The Sky are off to a hot start with a new competitive identity. After trading for franchise cornerstone Angel Reese, they added a couple of key veteran free-agent signings, which has led to a strong start to their season. They have wins against the Portland Fire, Golden State Valkyries and Minnesota Lynx, with their only loss coming against the Phoenix Mercury.

Rickea Jackson, Kamila Cardoso and Jacy Sheldon have been key parts of the Sky’s strong start. Jackson leads the team in scoring, while Cardoso leads in rebounding. Sheldon has also been a force to be reckoned with. The 25-year-old hasn’t shied away from imposing her physical presence, currently ranking fifth in steals across the league.

The Wings, on the other hand, have displayed strong performances and have already shown improvement in key areas. A 92-69 win against the Washington Mystics will give them a welcome confidence booster heading into their matchup against the Sky, while also adding credibility to the progress they’ve been making early in the season.

Paige Bueckers, who leads the team in scoring with 20.0 points per game, had 18 points in the win over the Mystics. Along with Bueckers, four other players scored in double figures, including Azzi Fudd.

Shooting has been tough to come by for Fudd, but her 12-point outing against the Mystics will be a significant confidence boost. The Wings are trending upward, sitting at two wins and two losses, and will be looking to move above the .500 mark with a win in Chicago.
