Minnesota Lynx vs Dallas Wings Projected Starting Lineups, Injury Reports and More | 2026 WNBA Season

The Minnesota Lynx and Dallas Wings will lock horns on Thursday at College Park Center. Both teams are 1-1 to start the 2026 WNBA season. The Lynx suffered a 91-90 loss after a second-half collapse in their opener against the Dream. It didn’t take long for them to bounce back, winning their second game 88-84 against the Phoenix Mercury.

The Lynx received near equal contributions from multiple players against Phoenix. Natasha Howard and Nia Coffey recorded double-doubles, while rookie Olivia Miles had 13 points, six rebounds and seven assists. Three others scored in double-digits. The Lynx trailed by four, but showed tremendous composure in the second half to overcome the veteran Phoenix roster.

On the other hand, the Wings won their opening game 107-104 against the Indiana Fever. They nearly lost that contest, but hung on defensively at the end to fend off Caitlin Clark and Co. In the second game against the Dream, which they lost 77-72, the Wings couldn’t maintain the same composure.

Dallas was outmatched by Atlanta’s frontcourt size. The Wings lost the 50-50 battles and weren’t nearly as sound offensively. Paige Bueckers struggled, scoring 15 points on 5 of 12 shots. She only had three assists. Arike Ogunbowale was the only one who got going with 20 points, while Jessica Sheppard had 12 points. No other player scored 10 or more.

Ahead of this clash, they are 3.5-point favorites. However, this could be even closer given how evenly matched the teams seem to be.
