Jason Whitlock’s Crazy Prediction About Caitlin Clark Gets Trolled by NCAA Analyst

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever have been riddled with controversies and speculations in the first 9 games of the season. There have been rumors of a rift between Caitlin Clark and head coach Stephanie White. After multiple public disagreements on the court, many thought there was unrest in the locker room.

However, time and again, both Clark and White have come forward to put the rumors to bed. They have both admitted that there is utmost respect between them. Their competitive nature and willingness to win are the only reason for those arguments and nothing more.

Many believe that Stephanie White is the correct coach for Caitlin Clark. Renowned sports journalist Jason Whitlock has often used his platform to discuss Caitlin Clark, Stephanie White, and the Indiana Fever. Most recently, Whitlock took to his X account and made a bold prediction. This was not necessarily taken well by NCAA analyst Jeff Goodman.

“The Indiana Fever are planning to ship Caitlin Clark to the Los Angeles Sparks. I expect UCLA coach Cori Close to be the head coach of the Sparks,” Whitlock posted.

“Jason Whitlock trying to break news for the first time in his life. This should age well,” Goodman mockingly replied.

Not just Goodman, but many of the fans were also not in agreement with what Whitlock predicted.

“Whitlock breaking WNBA news is like me trying to dunk on Caitlin zero chance, zero sources, and the whole timeline still roasts me for it Next he’ll tell us the Fever are trading her for a pack of gum and LeBron’s podcast rights. This is aging like milk in a Indiana summer, Jeff,” one fan replied.

“Why the hell would Indiana trade Caitlin Clark?” Another asked sarcastically.

“So his assertion is that the small market Indiana Fever will trade the most marketable star in the entire league? Ummm. Why?” Another fan wondered.

“And he probably hasn’t watched any Sparks games and has no idea there is no real attractive trade package from them anyway,” one fan called out Whitlock.

“Notice he doesn’t say who she’s being traded for because he’d have to learn the name of someone on the Sparks,” another fan said.

“Why the hell would Indiana trade Caitlin Clark?” another fan asked.

Jason Whitlock slaps back at Jeff Goodman for criticism over Caitlin Clark take

Whitlock claimed that Clark would be leaving Fever for Sparks and UCLA’s national champion coach Cori Close would be the head coach. Without a concrete source, Whitlock’s claim was little more than a prediction. However, it would be unwise to rule out any possibility entirely.

After the claim, Goodman took a jab at Whitlock and mockingly doubted his journalistic integrity. Whitlock isn’t one to stay quiet, and he immediately answered back.

He replied, “Lol. Jeff try to have some ethics and integrity for the first time in your life. You’re the original Dianna Russini, and everybody knows it.”
