Having made Indiana her second home, Caitlin Clark has become close friends with Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton and his fiancée Jade Jones. When the LA Lakers came to their shared home venue of Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Wednesday, the trio of Clark, Haliburton, and Jones were on hand to watch the Pacers take on LeBron James and Luka Doncic.

Prior to the game, Clark decided to have fun with a camera as she snapped a shot of Haliburton and Jones. Posting the image of the happy couple on her X account, Clark chided her photographer friend Bri Lewerke, who had expressed her doubt that the Indiana Fever superstar could capture a great shot.

“See turned out good for having no flash and zoomed in,” Clark tweeted.

Clearly not satisfied with the picture that Caitlin Clark snapped, Lewerke fired back at the two-time WNBA All-Star.

“Can you just be bad at something for once you’re so annoying”

Clark went on to sit on the baseline during the Lakers-Pacers game, capturing several moments from this Wednesday night clash.

After leading 45-28 at the end of the first quarter and staying in control for most of the game, the Lakers had to weather a furious comeback from the Pacers in the final frame. In the end, the purple and gold squad (led by Doncic, who dropped 43 points) pulled off the 137-130 victory.

The Pacers’ loss to the Lakers wasn’t exactly picturesque, but Caitlin Clark may have discovered another creative outlet as she awaits the start of the WNBA season.

Viral Clip Shows Caitlin Clark Taking Photos as LeBron James Crashes Out on Referees

A viral clip from the Lakers-Pacers game shows a great example of Caitlin Clark’s comedic timing. At one point in the second quarter, James took exception to the officiating, walking straight up to a referee to express his frustrations.

The TV broadcast then panned to Clark on the baseline; realizing that the camera was on her, Clark pointed her own lens at James and appeared to compose a shot.

Clark and James, of course, have interacted in the past, with LBJ tweeting his support for CC during the WNBA’s opening weekend last year. James, then, might forgive Clark for snapping photos of a heated moment.
