“I Have a Migraine”: Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston Call Out Fever’s Social Media for Distorting Highlight Reel

Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston have displayed not only strong on-court chemistry but also playful off-court antics, and recently the two teamed up for some friendly jabs at the Indiana Fever’s social media crew.

Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston Playfully Roast Fever Social Media Over Highlight Clip

On Sunday, the Fever’s social media team shared a highlight reel of Boston’s blocks, noting that she leads Unrivaled with 2.0 blocks per game. To mark the feat, the account posted clips of her career blocks with the Fever in the WNBA.

However, the video drew attention for the wrong reasons. It had been stretched to fit a vertical format, making the resolution distorted and difficult to watch.

Clark and Boston didn’t hold back in the comments.

“Respectfully how am I supposed to watch this,” Clark wrote. She then added, “Now I have a migraine.”

Boston replied to Clark’s remark, saying the clip “gave me the biggest headache.”

Boston Opens Up About Sharing the Court With Clark

In a January episode of her “Post Moves” podcast, which she co-hosts with WNBA legend Candace Parker, Boston reflected on what she and Clark consider their “favorite form of basketball.”

In a birthday post Boston shared when Clark turned 24 last month, she included a photo of them during a game against the Atlanta Dream, appearing locked in an intense exchange on the court.

“This is, like, us. This is us in our favorite form of basketball. So she must have been telling me something she saw on the court,” Boston said.

“And I’m just looking at her, probably trying to say, like, ‘Girl, I’m hearing you, but do you see the way I’m playing?’ That was probably the next words out of my mouth, to which she probably responded and was like, “It’s fine. You’re good, AB. You’re good, AB.” … This is us all the time on the basketball court.”

In the first round of the playoffs, the Fever matched up against the No. 3 seed Atlanta Dream. Even with Clark sidelined in street clothes, Indiana secured an 87-85 Game 3 victory to complete the upset.

The Fever then advanced to face the Las Vegas Aces, who went on to capture the 2025 championship. Indiana forced a decisive Game 5 but ultimately fell 107-98 in overtime after losing All-Star guard Kelsey Mitchell to injury in the third quarter and seeing Boston foul out in the final minute of regulation.
