“The Greed They Talk About In Bible” – Novak Djokovic Fans Brutally Slam Jannik Sinner’s Madrid Open Decision Amid Carlos Alcaraz & Serb’s Absence

Jannik Sinner has won four consecutive Masters, dating back to the Paris Masters and most recently the Monte-Carlo. He has reportedly confirmed his participation in Madrid, where he will have an opportunity to win five ATP 1000 tournaments in a row.

Sinner has become the odds-on favorite to win Madrid after the withdrawal of Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. The Italian has been unstoppable in the last few months and without Alcaraz and Djokovic to challenge him, he is threatening to win another Masters with ease.

If Sinner wins in Madrid, the Italian will come one step closer to tying Djokovic’s feat of winning six Masters in a season. However, fans of the Serb ridiculed his feat by pointing out his short-lived doping suspension and lackluster ATP field.

“Sinner playing Madrid is the greed they talk about in the bible,” one fan wrote.

“This guy is gonna break Djokovic’s 6 masters in one season record thanks to playing absolutely nobody. Tennis has fallen off so bad,” one fan wrote.

“After serving the shortest doping suspension in tennis history,” one fan commented.

“Except for injuries, he is supposed to make that history. Cos no one worthy to compete with is playing Madrid,” one fan remarked.

“he plays in such a weak era that he can actually win 5 masters in a row. That’s why you need context to understand and properly value ‘records,'” one fan wrote.

“Rigged Italian ATP, he was the first ever double failed doping tests player not to get banned,” another added. “That’s the only thing he will be remembered for, the fraud.”

“He saw that Carlos and Novak are already out, so he decided to statpad another master’s lol. He will be exposed in Roland Garros,” another commented.

Jannik Sinner Retakes No. 1 Ranking From Carlos Alcaraz

Jannik Sinner entered the Monte-Carlo Masters Tournament with a World No. 1 ranking in sight. He was supposed to go one step further than Alcaraz in the tournament. Both players made their way through the draw and met in the finals. The Italian showed his composure and skill set to earn a straight-set victory over Alcaraz.

The Spaniard took the first set to a tiebreak but looked lackluster in the second set, as he lost. 7-6, 6-3. As a result, Sinner reclaimed the throne of the ATP rankings from Alcaraz.

The Spaniard had a chance to retake the rankings sitting out in Barcelona. However, in order not to aggravate his wrist injury, he chose to sit out and now his absence has extended to the Madrid Open as well.
