Coco Gauff’s Recent Analogies About A Throuple, Daddies, and ‘Nice Guy’ Leave Fans Stunned

Coco Gauff has used some unique words lately. Her analogies about a “Throuple,” “Daddies,” and “Nice Guy” have sparked intrigue among fans.

After making a run to the Miami Open final, where she was defeated by Aryna Sabalenka, Gauff had to transition from hard court to clay court. However, her choice of words to describe that was far from ordinary.

“In a throuple with hard court and clay court rn. Idk who is going to treat me better this season,” Gauff wrote on her Instagram story a week before the start of the Stuttgart Open.

The “Daddies” analogy came at the Miami Open press conference after Gauff defeated Karolina Muchova. In tennis slang, repeatedly beating someone gives you “Daddy status.” When asked about it, Gauff laughed and said:

“I’ve also been on the other end of it, too. I mean, like Iga [Swiatek], she beat me so many times in a row, so I don’t want her to be considered my Dad. But I was able to reverse it, so now we’re both each other’s Daddies? I don’t know. But yeah, I don’t think there’s a term, as far as I know, among the women; maybe there is.”

Last but not least, the “Nice Guy” term came ahead of the Madrid Open, where Gauff used a dating analogy to explain her complicated feelings about clay courts.

“You know, if you have a guy, and they just treat you good, and they do everything right, but it’s still just not there,” Gauff said. “That’s how I feel about clay… But my career on clay has always been the first of everything. Junior title there, my first Grand Slam final, my first doubles Grand Slam. So it’s just one of those guys, it’s just you know, maybe nice guys finish last.”

These analogies and terminologies have left fans stunned as they shared their reactions on X:

“she’s been on an all timer run these last few months,” one fan remarked.

“her hit rate is insane bc first we had the dominatrixes and “me and iga are each others’ daddies” and now this,” another added.

“What was she remotely saying? Like bg just throwing shots at a random dude she talking to 😭” one fan added.

“Stop giving her a mic 😭” one fan commented.

“She is hilarious!” one fan wrote.

“She’s SO gen Z 😆” one fan commented.

“She always cracks me up!!! Like gurllllll” one fan added.

Ahead of the Madrid Open, Coco Gauff revealed how she is taking care of her mental health.

Lately, Gauff has been engaging with fellow athletes like Alexandra Eala for TikTok videos. Ahead of the tournament in Madrid, she spent the evening with Eva Lys. In her recent interview, the two-time Grand Slam champion opened up she is getting involved socially more for her personal well-being.

“How I help with my mental health on tour? Just connecting with people, friends, other players is something that I’ve been relying on more during this part of my life. And just trying to find the joys and everything. And for me, that’s going out, having dinner, eating food, taking pictures, dressing up, and yeah,” said Gauff.
