Coco Gauff, Amanda Anisimova, and other WTA stars congratulated Ben Shelton on winning the Dallas Open title on Sunday. The 23-year-old defeated fellow American Taylor Fritz in a thrilling final, bouncing back from a loss in the opening set and saving three championship points in the third.
Shelton shared a collection of images from the trophy presentation on Instagram. The photos showed a happy Shelton holding the Nexo Dallas Open title trophy, surrounded by his family and girlfriend, Trinity Rodman, who were all present on center court to witness his ATP 500 win.
Besides Gauff and Anisimova, some more WTA stars, including Jessica Pegula, Madison Keys, Jennifer Brady, Shelby Rogers, and others, were quick to drop their reaction to the triumphant post, congratulating the World No. 9 on a thrilling victory.

Like Shelton, fellow Americans Gauff, Anisimova, and Pegula are gearing up to headline the Dubai Open, which is set to be the final tournament of the Middle-East swing before the players head to the USA.
Coco Gauff, Amanda Anisimova, and Jessica Pegula Aim to Produce Good Results in Dubai
There is a lot at stake for the top three American WTA players as a few points in the rankings currently separate them, and a lot could change after the Dubai Open. Gauff is the highest-seeded American at four, followed by Pegula in fifth and Anisimova in sixth, for the Dubai Open. Anisimova is ranked second, Gauff third, and Pegula fourth.
Either player has a strong chance of winning the tournament, since the top two seeds, Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek, have already withdrawn, leaving Elena Rybakina as the no. 1 seed and the hot favorite. Defending champion Mirra Andreeva will be another player to look out for as she is capable of springing up surprises.
Gauff begins her journey in Dubai with a round of 32 match against Anna Kalinskaya on Tuesday. Pegula will play against Varvara Gracheva on the same day, while Anisimova received a walkover in round 2; she will play her round of 16 match against Janice Tjen on Wednesday.
