“What More This Snake Can Do” – Carlos Alcaraz Fans Call Out Ex-Coach Ferrero For ‘Pathetic’ Engagement About Worrying Injury Prediction

Carlos Alcaraz announced his split with former coach Juan Carlos Ferrero before starting his preparations for the 2026 season. Ever since, Ferrero has spoken quite a lot regarding the split, while Alcaraz has focused on performance.

As the season progresses, Ferrero can’t keep himself out of the conversation regarding Alcaraz. Once again, he’s talked about because of his internet activity for all the wrong reasons.

Alcaraz is dealing with a wrist injury, which forced him to miss Barcelona and now the Madrid Open. With Roland Garros not too far, speculation is rising that the seven-time Grand Slam champion might not be injury free for Roland Garros. One such post from Radioestadio Noche was liked by Ferrero on Instagram.

One fan called out the former head coach for his controversial internet activity. It said:

“For all of you who say that Juan Carlos Ferrero has good faith: There he is, liking speculations about Alcaraz not being able to play Roland Garros, the one who wanted to distance himself from news about Carlos (the positive ones, I imagine) Thank goodness he wanted him like a son.”

Several fans joined the discussion, slamming Ferrero for how he has projected himself after the split.

“every day you can wonder what more this snake can do. Unfollowed him for distance but follows every news. I feel sorry for the golfer kid,” one fan commented.

“Every time we think JCF can’t get any worse, he proves us wrong with something even more pathetic,” another fan added.

“wdym jcf liked the post about Carlos possibly missing Roland Garros because of his injury,” one fan wrote.

“f**kass juan carlos ferrero really can’t leave carlos alone,” one fan remarked.

“bro i am starting to hate him big tome,” one fan added.

“this dude is still in denial about the layoff to this day lmao ffs,” one fan wrote.

Carlos Alcaraz Shares Scary Injury News

After playing the first round in Barcelona, Carlos Alcaraz raised concerns regarding his wrist with the exact details not disclosed. He painfully shared he won’t be able to play the Madrid Open this year.

Alcaraz has since shared details regarding his injury and how it happened during his first-round match against Otto Virtanen in Barcelona.

“It’s just discomfort, discomfort that pops up, considering the few days I’ve had to recover, when everything has been practically back-to-back, so in the end things come up in some unusual movements,” the world No 2 said in the press conference.

“We’ve tried to calm ourselves down, try to keep going, and above all, be more relaxed, especially in the second set, and see what happens. It’s a discomfort I’ve had before, which has never led to anything more serious, so let’s hope it’s the same this time.”

However, the injury turned out to be worse than expected.

“It’s a more serious injury than we all expected, and I have to listen to my body so it doesn’t affect me in the future,” Alcaraz said.

Right now, there is not much to know other than that Alcaraz will skip the Madrid Open this year. His availability for Rome is also a matter of concern as he approaches the French Open.
