Ben Shelton’s girlfriend, Trinity Rodman, is a successful soccer star at both the club and international levels. The highest-paid women’s soccer player is very active on social media, sharing moments from her everyday life with her fans and followers, and showing love and support to her loved ones.
The duo has been dating for over a year now and is also close to each other’s family members. On Monday night, Rodman shared a loving reaction to Shelton’s sister Emma’s latest Instagram post, which featured a collection of images from her glamorous night out with friends in Miami, FL. “Sushi sisters forever,” read the caption of the post.
“😍😍😍😍” Rodman commented on the post.

Both Emma and Rodman were present in the players’ box last month to oversee Shelton’s triumphant run towards the Dallas Open title, and before that, were also present at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club to watch Shelton play at the 2025 Wimbledon.
Rodman had also accompanied Shelton to Auckland at the start of the year during the Australian swing, but had to return home for the USWNT training camp just before the Australian Open started.
Shelton made up for his dissapointing run in the Australian swing by winning the ATP 500 event in Dallas, but since then has produced a series of shallow performances in the Sunshine swing.
Shelton lost to Learner Tien in R3 of the Indian Wells Masters, whereas in the Miami Open, the American was knocked out in the opening round (R2) by Alexander Shevchenko.
Ben Shelton’s Scheduling Decision in Limbo for the Clay-Court Swing
Shelton is part of the group of seven American pros who have not entered the Monte Carlo Masters, which serves as the first major event of the clay-court swing. Instead, the American has expressed a desire to play in the Houston Open, the only clay-court event on US soil.
Shelton has played well on clay in the past, which is why some analysts believe he shouldn’t skip the Monte Carlo Masters. After the Houston Open, Shelton’s next tournament will be the Madrid Open.
Previously, Shelton won the clay-court event in Houston in 2024 and reached the final of the ATP 500 in Munich last year, suggesting a decent win percentage on clay. Moreover, since the American played only three matches in the Sunshine swing, he will need more gametime in the forthcoming swing before the 2026 French Open.
