The national champions could be getting some extra help up front with Sam Houston State offensive lineman Orion Irving and West Virginia offensive lineman Justin Terry visiting campus Friday, April 25.
On the other side of the line, North Carolina edge rusher Beau Atkinson — who totaled 11 sacks in two seasons — is planning on visiting Columbus, On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported.

With plenty of Buckeye talent headed to the 2025 NFL Draft, there is a lot to replace for the defending champions.
On offense, tackle Josh Simmons is the No. 4 ranked player at his position by ESPN and No. 30 overall. Guard Donovan Jackson is No. 4 at his position and No. 59 overall and center Seth McLaughlin is No. 2 at his position and No. 119 overall.
Irving, a two-year starter with Sam Houston, was named Conference USA All-Freshman Team in 2023 and has two years of eligibility remaining. The 338-pound Terry redshirted this season for the Mountaineers; he was ranked the No. 62 offensive tackle prospect in 2024 out of Pickerington Central (Ohio) High School.
On the other side of the ball, defensive tackles Tyleik Williams and Ty Hamilton are expected to find NFL homes. Williams is the No. 10 ranked DT in the draft, according to ESPN, and the No. 68 player overall after a 46-tackle 2024. The 299-pound Hamilton is the No. 14 ranked DT in the draft and No. 130 player overall after a 3.5-sack 2024.
At EDGE, JT Tuimoloau is ranked No. 13 at his position by ESPN and No. 79 overall. Jack Sawyer is ranked No. 21 at the position and No. 101 overall. The two seniors combined for 12.5 and nine sacks in 2024.
