    Ohio State’s WR Room Adds 2026 4-Star Kayden Dixon-Wyatt From Mater Dei

    Kayden Dixon-Wyatt, a four-star wide receiver from Mater Dei, has found a new home as the Ohio State Buckeyes managed to land another talent, as per Hayden Fawcett of On3. According to a report in Yahoo Sports, the wide receiver had offers from around 40 programs.

    The report further states that the Buckeyes were one of five finalists, while some of the other offers were from Oregon, USC, Alabama, Texas, and more. 

    The program has produced some great wide receivers in recent years and looks forward to doing the same with its new additions.

    Top 2026 WR Kayden Dixon-Wyatt Brings Physicality and Matchup Nightmares

    The 6’2″ receiver joins the program as their No. 12 overall commit for the 2026 class. He has also joined the forces of wide receivers as their fourth and is expected to bring physicality to their future offense. He is also reported to be the final wide receiver committed to the program.

    “The first visit really made it competitive between Ohio State and Oregon, then the second one, I felt great,” Dixon-Wyatt said.

    He further said that the people made it “feel great” for him at Ohio State.

    Dixon-Wyatt also revealed to the aforementioned source that he has a “great relationship” with Brian Hartline, the wide receivers coach for the Buckeyes. He also said that he has a great relationship with coach Ryan Day. The player was also impressed with how they recruited him and “stayed in contact.”

    The Mater Dei star enjoyed the way the program expressed how important the player was to them, “On the visits was big.”

    Meanwhile, the other wide receivers set to join the squad next year are Chris Henry Jr., Jaeden Ricketts, and Brock Boyd. Dixon-Wyatt has been ranked as the No. 6 WR and No. 59 player nationally per 247Sports.

    During his junior year, Dixon-Wyatt recorded 50 catches for 693 yards and five touchdowns. As a sophomore, he registered 33 receptions for 512 yards and six touchdowns.
