According to the CFN Strength of Schedule, the Ohio 2024 football schedule is one of the weakest in the MAC. Only the Eastern Michigan Eagles, Toledo Rockets, and Buffalo Bulls have an easier schedule, with all three teams featuring on the Bobcats calendar this fall. However, that’s not to say that their 12 games this fall don’t come without significant challenges.
Those difficulties begin with the out-of-conference slate. The Bobcats open the season with a trip to the Syracuse Orange, giving the Ohio 2024 football schedule a Power Five problem to overcome early on. Another one comes in Week 4, with a visit to the Kentucky Wildcats. They’ll also face the Sun Belt-contending South Alabama Jaguars before moving to MAC play.
Although the Ohio 2024 football schedule is one of the easiest in the MAC, the Bobcats must overcome their primary conference contenders on the road. They face the reigning champion Miami (OH) RedHawks in mid-October, a team returning starting QB Brett Gabbert, with their penultimate game of the season being a midweek tangle with Toledo in the Glass Bowl Stadium.
