The New England Patriots finished their regular season with a 14-3 record and are all set to face the Los Angeles Chargers at home in the wild-card round.
Part of the Patriots’ success can be attributed to their star quarterback, Drake Maye, who has been consistent throughout the season, completing 354 of 492 passes for 4,394 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions.
One of Maye’s biggest support systems is his wife, Ann Michael. The couple first crossed paths during their time at William Amos Hough High School in Cornelius, North Carolina.
In high school, she also served as captain for softball, field hockey, and cheerleading teams. Later, she coached an under-10 girls’ softball team in Chapel Hill.
Ann Michael’s familiarity with sports goes beyond being the NFL quarterback’s wife. Her brother, Tad Hudson, also played quarterback at UNC during the same time as Drake, and in 2023, he found himself backing up Drake.
Ann Michael reportedly graduated from UNC in 2025 with a degree in business administration and is now studying at the Kenan-Flagler Business School.

#2 The Wedding
Soon after proposing to his longtime partner, Maye got hitched to Ann Michael in a beautiful ceremony back in June 2025.
The pictures Maye shared on Instagram showed the couple getting married at a scenic country club, with mountains, a lake, and greenery all around.
#3 Drake’s Birthday Post For Ann Michael
The Patriots quarterback shared a series of heartfelt pictures on his wife’s birthday back in August 2025.
“Happy birthday to my better half, my best friend, and lucky enough to call you my wife❤️ I love you”, Maye captioned Ann Michael’s birthday post.

Before being drafted by the Patriots in 2024, Maye played football for the Tar Heels. In May 2023, he shared a cute picture of himself and Ann Michael wearing formal outfits, most likely for a college event.

Maye’s Instagram page is a cute testament to him and his wife’s relationship. Back in 2020, Maye did not shy away from posting his future wife, calling her a “10” in his New Year post, with the couple posing in a cute embrace.
