Dianna Russini was photographed onboarding the luxury cruise Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas on July 4 with her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt, and their two sons. The images surfaced months after Russini’s resignation from The Athletic following the controversy surrounding leaked photos of her with New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel.
While several outlets covered the family’s public appearance, NFL analyst Ashley Nicole Moss questioned why the media is following the couple and invading their personal life.
Reacting to TMZ’s post, Moss wrote on X:
“Why are people stalking this woman and her young children on a cruise ship? This isn’t weird to y’all?”
Her post quickly gained traction as fans debated the ethics of photographing public figures during private family vacations, when young children are involved.
The newly surfaced photos reportedly showed Russini, Goldschmidt, and their sons enjoying time around the ship’s pool.
According to reports, eyewitnesses described the family as affectionate throughout the trip, with Russini and Goldschmidt spending time together and playing with their children at the ship’s Splash Pad.
The vacation came several months after Russini became the subject of controversy after photos of her with Vrabel at an Arizona resort were leaked. This ultimately led to Russini stepping down from The Athletic in April, while Vrabel remained the Patriots’ head coach.
Moss’s response resonated with many fans online, arguing that documenting a family vacation involving young children blurred the line between public interest and personal boundaries.
Dianna Russini Subtly Mocks Brittany Mahomes
Russini recently drew attention after liking an Instagram video of comedian Taylor Wolfe poking fun at Brittany Mahomes following Taylor Swift’s and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden.
The comedy sketch showed Wolfe impersonating Brittany and asking Patrick Mahomes when they could begin posting photos from the ceremony despite the private event’s strict no-phone policy. The video also jokingly referenced Brittany making new celebrity friends and dancing during the festivities.
Russini’s interaction on the post was quickly noticed online, with several media sites covering the news.
Ironically, while Russini was spending the holiday weekend with her family aboard the cruise, Vrabel attended Swift’s and Kelce’s wedding alongside his wife, Jennifer.
