“Decosta Is an Arrogant Jerk”: Fans Left Unimpressed as Maxx Crosby Spills the Beans on What Went Down at Baltimore

The NFL world was shocked and confused last week when the Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby went to Baltimore, expecting his trade deal to get done, but somehow he returned to his old franchise.

The Ravens were ready to let their star Edge Rusher go, and the Ravens were among the most interested teams in bringing Crosby to their roster. However, once he got to Baltimore, the deal abruptly fell apart, leaving fans confused about what happened.

On his podcast “The Rush,” the star Defensive End opened up about his Baltimore visit. Crosby shared that the Ravens flew him to DC and then had him drive to Baltimore. He also didn’t meet the general manager, Eric DeCosta, and the head coach, Jesse Minter, until the last leg of the day.

The Raiders star also shared that the energy was off when he met the Ravens general manager and Minter. They told him they had concerns about his knee. Fans online shared their reactions.

“The Ravens should be ashamed of themselves for treating a player of his caliber like that. Decosta is an arrogant jerk that thinks he’s smarter than everyone else,” one fan reacted.

”Idk why anyone is surprised.. they did Harbaugh dirty and in Biscotti press conference he was a d*ck when asked about Harbaugh,” another fan pointed out.

“No sh*t that the energy was off. The Ravens received bad news and were disappointed. And they tried to renegotiate the deal with the Raiders and the Raiders declined,” another fan conspired.

“So many of these just don’t make sense. Why would they fly him to DC? Why would DeCosta be up in his ivory tower? Just seems like a bad way to run a business and doesn’t vibe with the high scores the franchise gets every year in the player survey,” another fan questioned.

”Its like the Aaron Rodgers Jets situation almost. Just wasted everyone’s time,” another fan highlighted.

“I love my Ravens, and I was so excited to have Crosby. I can be honest. This was foul. There are 32 teams who do dirt, and mine’s is no different. I can love my team and be honest about that. This went down exactly how 95% of the league believes it did,” another fan wrote.

Emmanuel Acho Calls Out the Ravens for the “Dirty” Maxx Crosby Move

Former player Emmanuel Acho, who was vocal about his opinion on the Raiders making a mistake by letting Maxx Crosby go, talked about what the Ravens did and called them out on a recent “Speakeasy” episode.

Acho explained that the Ravens intentionally pulled a “dirty” move, as they saw Trey Hendrickson’s availability during the Crosby trade.

“The Ravens can get Trey Hendrickson for significantly cheaper than Maxx Crosby, and keep two 1st round picks,” Acho explained.

The analyst also mocked the Ravens’ reasoning to call off the deal, as Crosby only missed a couple of games in the last two weeks because of his knee.
