The 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend concludes on Sunday with a new format, featuring a Team World vs. Team USA round-robin tournament as the league hopes to reignite competitiveness among players. With European players dominating the NBA over the past five seasons, many have questioned whether the Americans are still a dominant force.
With consecutive World Cup losses for the Americans and a marginal win at the 2024 Paris Olympics, those debates have only fueled more. Sunday will give Team World another chance to test the American players. It’s a stacked lineup with Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, and Victor Wembanyama leading the way.
Team World is also the favorite to win the three-team tournament, beginning with its matchup against Team USA Stars. Here’s a look at how Team World’s starting lineup and depth chart could look ahead of Sunday’s games.
Team World Starting Lineup and Depth Chart For Today’s 2026 NBA All-Star Game
Team World has five of the 10 players who were voted as starters. That includes Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Victor Wembanyama. Antetokounmpo and Gilgeous-Alexander are injured and won’t be playing.
De’Aaron Fox replaced Antetokounmpo, but will be playing for Team USA Stripes. Meanwhile, Alperen Sengun will fill in for Gilgeous-Alexander. Doncic, Jokic and Wembanyama will be the guaranteed starters. The other two positions will be up for grabs. With the center position stacked, Sengun will likely come off the bench.
That also suggests Karl-Anthony Towns will likely come off the bench, leaving Team World with Deni Avdija and Jamal Murray as the potential two starters. Murray will play at shooting guard, while Avdija will start at small forward.
