LeBron James’ wife, Savannah James, was in the spotlight amid the Los Angeles Lakers’ season-ending 115-110 loss to the OKC Thunder on Monday. During the fourth quarter, back and forth between LA and OKC, the camera turned its attention to Savannah, who was seated in the middle row.
At a game where several celebrities like Jessica Alba and Leonardo DiCaprio made an appearance, many Lakers fans were in awe of Savannah’s face card.
Despite appearing for only five seconds, Savannah was enough for fans to express how incredible she looked while rocking a wavy hairstyle and a simple hoodie.
One fan compared her to Jessica Alba, suggesting Savannah James outdid her with her looks, saying:
“Savannah James mogging Jessica alba fairs LeBron ur actually the goat”
Another speculated that her appearance meant that James was playing his last NBA game, saying:
“Savannah James sitting in the crowd makes you wonder about LeBron’s future”
“Glad Savannah James Saw This Bulls**t Performance Live. Let My GOAT Leave To A Real Contender,” one fan added.
“Goat basketball skill & Goat pull. Props Bron,” one fan wrote.
“THE REAL QUEEN,” another said.
LeBron James retirement buzz picks up after Savannah James’ appearance, Austin Reaves and JJ Redick’s comments
LeBron James’ wife, Savannah James, attending Game 4 on Monday, stirred the buzz surrounding the Lakers star potentially playing his final NBA game. Meanwhile, JJ Redick and Austin Reaves comments also fueled the speculation. Redick said he hadn’t thought about him coaching James for the last time, while Reaves thanked his co-star for helping him shape his career.
“I haven’t even thought about that. We’ll deal with the offseason in the offseason, which is the next two months,” Redick told reporters.
Reaves added:
“It would mean the world to me (to keep playing with LeBron). I don’t know anything different. My rookie year, I had no idea what the hell was going on, and he basically took me under his wing and (has) given me every opportunity.”
For the first time, James will enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent. Last summer, instead of opting out of his deal, and signing a new contract, James picked up his player option and entered the final year of his contract.
He will have the opportunity to renegotiate with the Lakers and other teams when free agency begins.
