Sacramento Kings vs Golden State Warriors Prediction, Injury Reports and Starting Lineups Tonight (Apr.7)

The Golden State Warriors are stuck in a losing skid. The Dubs have lost four straight and seven of their last ten. On Tuesday, they host their cross-town rivals, the Sacramento Kings, as they continue a five-game homestand inside Chase Center.

This is a must-win game for the Warriors to build momentum, with the LA Lakers coming to town Thursday. Golden State then takes the Kings again on the road Friday, the second night of a back-to-back, before finishing the season against the Clippers.

The series is now even, with both teams winning one game each. Back in early November, the Kings beat the Warriors 121-116. DeMar DeRozan led the Kings with 27 points, while rookie Will Richardson posted a career-best 30 points. The Warriors got revenge at home with a 137–103 win on Jan.9. Steph Curry had 27 points, while DeRozan paced the Kings with 24 points.

The game is slated to tip off at 10 p.m. ET on NBCS-BA and NBCS-CA.

Sacramento Kings vs Golden State Warriors Preview

The Kings have been dreadful for most of the season. They walk into Chase Center with nothing really on the line, sitting dead last (14th) in the West and already thinking about summer.

Sacramento comes off a 138-109 loss to the LA Clippers on Sunday. Devin Carter led the team in scoring with 21 points, Nique Clifford had 18 points, while Dylan Cardwell and Daeqwon Plowden posted 15 points each off the bench.

Golden State is coming off a hard-fought 116–115 loss to the Houston Rockets on Sunday. The Warriors had hoped to get back on track with Steph Curry returning from a 27-game injury.

For most of the game, it looked like that might happen, but it didn’t. The loss was a tough one to swallow for the Warriors, who have now dropped four consecutive games. They continue to fight hard but need to find a way to close out games. Curry posted a team-high 29 points while playing limited minutes. He is expected to go through the same drills on Tuesday as well.

Sacramento Kings vs Golden State Warriors Prediction

There is little to separate these teams, who have struggled for consistency this season. Another low-scoring affair could be in store, but with Steph Curry’s return, oddsmakers are backing Golden State to get back to winning ways on home court. They are likely to win by around 16 points.
