    Round 1

Kon Knueppel was the first to begin the 3-point contest. He was on a heater from the get-go, making at least three shots from all positions and scoring 27 in the opening round.

    Knueppel’s Score: 27

Donovan Mitchell was the next participant, and he was even better than Knueppel at the start. He made all of his six shots from the first rack and missed only one on the second. Mitchell didn’t hit from the logo, which derailed his momentum. Mitchell managed to make six shots from normal range to close his round.

    Mitchell’s score: 24

Jamal Murray had a forgettable debut in the 3-point contest as he made seven shots through his first four racks. He revived himself momentarily on his second last rack on the wing with five of six shots, but could make only three more to end his round with 18 points.

    Murray’s score: 18

Norman Powell was next in line. After a cold start with only one made shot from his first rack, Powell hit his next eight of 10 shots, with a logo 3. He made six of 10 shots from normal range on his final two racks to end with 23 points.

    Powell’s score: 23

Bobby Portis was the fifth participant and he couldn’t find a rhythm across all the racks, managing only 15 points.

    Portis’ score: 15

Tyrese Maxey had a cold start with five shots converted on his first 10 attempts. He then missed his logo shot and made two from the top of the key. Maxey showed signs of revival on his final two racks, but it wasn’t substantial. He had only 17 points.

    Maxey’s score: 17

2018 champion Devin Booker had an incredible start with 9-of-10 shots to begin his round. He made one of the two logo shots and breached the 20-point mark on his second-to-last rack. He made four of his five shots from the money ball rack, scoring a round-high and career-high 30 points.

    Booker’s score: 30

Two-time champion Damian Lillard was the next participant. He had a cold start too, but caught fire on his last rack, scoring 27 points to avoid elimination, thanks to four made shots on his money ball rack.

    Lillard’s score: 27

Kon Knueppel, Devin Booker and Damian Lillard advanced to the final round. Booker led with 30 points, Knueppel and Lillard were tied with 27.

    Final Round

Kon Knueppel went first in the final round. He had a decent start on the first rack, but went cold as he proceeded, missing four of his next six. With only two made shots from the top of the key, Knueppel managed only 13 points until his final rack. The rookie didn’t find any luck there either and finished with 17 points, ending his pursuit of the title.

    Knueppel’s score: 17 points

Damian Lillard went in second and had a hot start with four straight points. He added five on the next rack and made six consecutive shots. Lillard finished strong with eight makes, recording 29 points.

    Lillard’s score: 29 points

Devin Booker went last and had an even better start than Lillard with nine straight shots. He had 17 after going 5 of 5 on his second last rack. However, Booker fell short with only two out of five made shots on the money-ball rack, finishing with 27 points.

    Booker’s score: 27 points.
