    Timberwolves vs. 76ers Preview

The Minnesota Timberwolves head into this contest on a streaky 3-3 run over their past six games. They lost 113-108 to the Detroit Pistons on Thursday as Anthony Edwards missed his 16th game. Julius Randle scored 27 points on 60.0% shooting.

However, no other player contributed as much or more. Minnesota was rock solid on defense for the most part, but couldn’t execute down the stretch. The Timberwolves will hope to maintain that when Anthony Edwards potentially returns to play this contest. He was out on Thursday against Detroit, but is day-to-day. Jaden McDaniels remains out.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been better in the same span, with four wins in six outings. They beat the Washington Wizards 151-131 on Wednesday. Paul George had his best game for Philadelphia with 39 points, Tyrese Maxey had 28 and VJ Edgecombe added 22.

With Joel Embiid listed as doubtful and missing another game, this version of George can be decisive again.
