Miles Bridges’ girlfriend, Shara Bowden, took a dig at the people of Detroit after her boyfriend was involved in a fight that included Jalen Duren, Isaiah Stewart and Moussa Diabate.
The altercation took place in the third quarter of Monday’s game featuring the Hornets and the Pistons. It started with Diabate and Duren getting into each other’s faces after the Hornets forward committed a foul.
Duren pushed Diabate away, leading to an animated reaction. Miles Bridges also got involved by taking a swing at Duren while defending his teammate. Seeing a brawl break out, Isaiah Stewart also sprang into action, leaving the bench to take a swing at Bridges before the two had to be separated.
Bridges’ girlfriend, who was in attendance, shared a picture of the altercation and took a jab at the apparent temper of those in Detroit.
“Y’all real angry in Detroit huh,” she wrote.
All four players involved in the altercation were quickly removed from the game. The Pistons held a 70-62 lead when the altercation occurred.
They ended up winning the game 110-104, led by a 33-point performance from Cade Cunningham, who also added nine rebounds and seven assists.
This fight could have serious repercussions for the Hornets, who were one of the hottest teams in the league and came into Monday’s matchup on a nine-game winning streak.

Much like his girlfriend, Shara Bowden, Miles Bridges also had much to say following Monday’s game. While Bowden’s message was directed at the Pistons, Bridges addressed his fans in Charlotte.
“Sorry, Hornets Nation!” Bridges said. “Sorry, Hornets Organization! Always gonna protect my teammates forever.”
Bridges is averaging 18.2 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game this season. Meanwhile, Moussa Diabate has also been solid, recording 8.2 ppg and 8.6 rpg, while primarily coming off the bench.
With both players likely to be suspended, Charles Lee will have to make significant adjustments for the team’s upcoming matchups. The Hornets will return to the court on Wednesday to face the Atlanta Hawks.
