Los Angeles Lakers vs OKC Thunder Starting Lineups and Depth Charts For Tonight (May 7) | Game 2, 2026 NBA Playoffs

The Los Angeles Lakers and OKC Thunder resume their 2026 NBA playoffs Western Conference semis matchup on Thursday. The Thunder took a 1-0 series lead with a 108-90 win in Tuesday’s Game 1. It was a competitive game until the Thunder started pulling away in the late third quarter.

The Lakers played with an eight-man rotation and couldn’t keep up with OKC’s intensity and production down the stretch, which had an 11-man rotation. LeBron James was the best player on the floor with 27 points and six assists on 12 of 17 shots, while Rui Hachimura added 18 points. Deandre Ayton finished with a double-double.

However, the Lakers couldn’t capitalize on it as Austin Reaves struggled, scoring only eight points on 3 of 16 shooting and the rest of LA’s backcourt, including Marcus Smart and Luke Kennard, also underperformed.

On the other hand, Chet Holmgren led the Thunder’s charge with 24 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks on 52.9% shooting as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had an off night. The MVP candidate managed only 18 points and six assists against seven turnovers. Jared McCain played an excellent shift off the bench with 12 points on 4 of 7 shots and was the catalyst to OKC’s blitz late in the second half.
