Vanessa Bryant, the wife of the late Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, is going viral on social media amid unverified rumors that she may be pregnant with a new partner, six years after Bryant’s death.
The rumor started after X account @VERITY_HQ shared a post on X, claiming that Bryant has moved on from Kobe Bryant with a new relationship and also alleged that she was pregnant.
“Kobe Bryant died in January 2020, 6 years after his death, his wife has moved on with another man and she is reportedly pregnant with the man,” the account wrote. “If you think your wife truly loves you, then you’re nothing but a fool. Women are not in love; they are in business. & quick to move on.”
The post went viral on X, amassing over a million views in a few hours. Fans flooded the comments section of the post, asking for credible sources and criticizing the original poster. The post also drew criticism for its generalization of women.
Bryant has not publicly acknowledged the accusation, but there is no indication or reason to believe that she is pregnant or in a relationship. This is not the first time Bryant has been subjected to such rumors.
Similar reports started surfacing in August 2025, leading Vanessa Bryant to address the situation with a light-hearted post on Instagram.
“Enjoying my Honey Deuce. Keep me posted on how this imaginary pregnancy rumor is coming along. 24 years later… same rumor,” Bryant wrote.

While the internet continues to speculate about her relationship status, Vanessa Bryant has been focused on carrying Kobe and Gigi’s legacy forward. She took another step in that direction on Feb. 24 after unveiling a tribute in honor of her late husband and daughter.
Bryant unveiled the Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Court inside Hoag Hospital. The hospital itself holds special significance in Bryant’s life as all four of her and Kobe’s daughters were born there.
“Today on 2/24, we unveiled the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Court at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach,” Bryant wrote in a statement. “HOAG Hospital will always hold a special place in my heart, having delivered our four daughters there.”
Bryant has also continued to work with Nike as she looks to keep Kobe Bryant’s signature sneaker collection alive.
