The Miami Heat look set to face the Chicago Bulls on Thursday with star players Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro and Norman Powell all available for the matchup. The Heat (20-18), who are holding eighth place in the Eastern Conference, have struggled for fitness all season long.
Star guard Tyler Herro has been limited to just six appearances, owing to multiple injuries. But he played in Tuesday’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves and is listed as available for Thursday’s game. Herro has been solid when active, averaging 22.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.
Bam Adebayo, who has made 28 appearances this season, is also available against Chicago. He has been averaging 16.9 points and 9.6 rebounds, making a solid impact on both ends of the floor. He had one of his worst games this season on Tuesday, finishing with just seven points, and will look to bounce back against the Bulls.
Norman Powell, who has been Miami’s most reliable player this season, will also be active on Thursday. He is averaging 24.3 points and 3.7 rebounds per game, stepping up for the Heat in the absence of Herro.
While the team’s stars are available, Vladislav Goldin and Jahmir Young, who are both on two-way deals, are out. Lastly, Jaime Jaquez Jr., who is dealing with a sprained ankle, is listed as questionable for the game.
Apart from these three and Terry Rozier, who is facing gambling charges, the Heat will have all their players available. Meanwhile, the Bulls have yet to submit their injury report for the game.
