GloRilla’s Boyfriend Brandon Ingram Clowns Shams Charania After Rough All-Star Celebrity Game Showing

Brandon Ingram’s girlfriend, GloRilla, and NBA insider Shams Charania were teammates for Friday’s 2026 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. The rapper and the ESPN senior reporter played for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who coached Team Giannis.

Ingram sat courtside to support the “Tomorrow 2” hitmaker. While the Toronto Raptors forward watched the action, he said on Instagram Live:

“I told Shams (Charania) to pass her (GloRilla) the ball to. We gon’ put out a Shams report.”

Charania, who is famous for his breaking news, had a rough outing. He went 0-for-4 and failed to tally a rebound or an assist. For good measure, Charania committed three turnovers.

While GloRilla warmed up at halftime, Brandon Ingram, who trained her for the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, approached her. Once the game started, he responded when asked what he told his girlfriend:

“I need her to shoot 20 more shots.”

The “Whatchu Kno About Me” singer wasn’t close to that figure, prompting Ingram to troll Shams Charania.

Although GloRilla rarely attempted a shot, she was a bundle of energy on the court. Her defense and hustle disrupted Team Anderson’s offense late in the third quarter to force a jump ball.

Although Brandon Ingram’s girlfriend failed to hoist as many shots as he expected, her team with Shams Charania still won 65-58.

Brandon Ingram Trained GloRilla for NBA All-Star Celebrity Game at Raptors’ Practice Facility

Early this  month, the NBA announced GloRilla as one of the participants of the 2026 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. He was listed under Team Giannis, which has a stacked lineup that included former NBA players Jeremy Lin and Tacko Fall. Antetokounmpo’s roster also had Rome Flynn, last year’s MVP, who kept the same award this year.

Not long after the announcement was made, Brandon Ingram brought his girlfriend to the Toronto Raptors’ practice facility to work out with her.

After the Raptors’ 113-95 loss to the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, GloRilla shared some of what Ingram taught her:

“He was teaching me a lot. He was teaching me how to use my left hand when I play.”

The singer never attempted a left-handed shot on Friday, but she was nonetheless excited to learn from an NBA All-Star.
