He’s been a pro since he was 13 years old. and I don’t think they probably ever even asked him to get three stops in a row, It’s like you have to push him to play defense and you have to let your team know like, ‘Yo, we have a weak defensive player so we have to come around with schemes and cutting the floor off.”
While there isn’t even an ounce of doubt about Doncic’s offensive abilities, his efforts on the defensive end have not been up to the mark. He leads the league in scoring this season, but has the lowest defensive rating of his career (114.5).

After the last game, talking to the media, when he was asked about continuing to play at a high level even with things going on in his personal life, he said:
“Alright. That’s life, I don’t know what to say. But that’s my job so I have to be here. They pay me a lot to play for them so… and also basketball is giving me some kind of peace when I play a game.”
Doncic and Goltes also have two daughters, and there is no update on how the couple has planned to proceed with parenting them. However, neither Doncic nor Goltes has confirmed the rumors of a breakup publicly.
