Anthony Edwards’ girlfriend Shannon Jackson made a tribute to the Minnesota Timberwolves star during Game 4 of their first-round series against the Denver Nuggets. The Timberwolves took control of the series after their win in Game 4, establishing a 3-1 lead.
Jackson attended the game wearing a custom jacket with Edwards’ likeness printed on the back. Photos were shared on Instagram by the fan account @coutureinc2source.

While Minnesota took a 3-1 series lead on Saturday, the game left a bitter taste in the fans’ mouths. Donte DiVincenzo suffered a torn Achilles in the matchup, while Edwards only played 18 minutes before exiting with a knee injury.
With their starting guards out, the Timberwolves relied on Ayo Dosunmu, who dominated Game 4, finishing with 43 points, shooting 13-for-17, including 5-for-5 from 3-point range. None of the other Timberwolves players recorded more than 17 points in the matchup.
The Nuggets, meanwhile, struggled, with Nikola Jokic shooting 8-for-22 and finishing with 24 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists. Jamal Murray also had a rough shooting night, recording 30 points on 10-for-25 shooting. Outside of these two, only one Nuggets player recorded double figures in points.
Will Anthony Edwards return for Game 5 against the Denver Nuggets?
Despite their win in Game 4, the Timberwolves locker room is seemingly grim in light of the injuries suffered by Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo. According to a report, DiVincenzo’s season is over after he suffered an Achilles tear.
As for Edwards, the severity of his left knee injury remains unclear. Coach Chris Finch did not provide any updates on Edwards when addressing the media after the game.
“Nothing,” he told reporters when asked about the issue. “Nothing. Nothing definitive.”
“Losing those two guys was really tough,” Finch said. “Tough emotionally for the guys.”
Edwards was key for the Timberwolves through the first three games, averaging 25.3 points, 12.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game over that stretch. The Nuggets will have the opportunity to turn this series around if Minnesota’s star guard misses an extended period.
The Timberwolves will head back to Denver for Game 5 of this playoff series, tipping off from the Ball Arena on Monday.
