    Whenever the even-keeled Nikola Jokic gets into a physical altercation, he makes headlines in the NBA. When the Denver Nuggets began their first-round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Jokic found himself going viral once again after a heated act from a Wolves defender.

    Late in the third quarter of Game 1 on Saturday, Jaden McDaniels shoved Nikola Jokic after making a jumper in the lane. McDaniels was assessed a technical foul for this action.

    On social media, some fans blasted Jaden McDaniels for shoving Nikola Jokic in the back.

    In the end, it was Nikola Jokic who got the last laugh as the Nuggets won 116-105 to take Game 1. With both the Nuggets and the Wolves looking to get back to the Western Conference Finals, the intensity is expected to ramp up even more as this series progresses.
