Adin Ross Accuses LeBron James of Secretly Using Peptides to Stay Ahead of the Competition

LeBron James defies Father Time every time he takes the court in the NBA. There have been several conversations on social media about his retirement, and questions about it have often been raised in press sessions. And now, another controversial update about his health has been revealed on social media.

Internet personality Adin Ross talked about athletes having early access to peptides, a type of “short protein” that is easily absorbed through the skin and used to enhance cellular functions such as skin treatment and muscle growth. Ross mentioned one such peptide called Retatrutide and claimed that athletes like James had early access to these biological enhancements, which might have helped him stay in shape.

Adin Reports shared the clip on X and wrote:

“Adin Ross EXPOSES athletes for having access to peptides like Retatrutide before everyone else did

“Lebron James was on Retatrutide before it was popular.””

In 2016, analyst Bill Simmons shared on his podcast that sources close to King James had revealed that the 4-time NBA champion spends approximately $1.5 billion on his health routine and other medical aids. However, in a Netflix documentary, Starting 5 that covered the 2023-24 NBA season, LBJ addressed those rumors and said:

“I’ve heard this crazy notion about how much money I spend on my body each year. I kind of just chuckle. That is a number that I will not disclose.”

Even though James has never opened up in detail about his treatment and health routine, there have been several rumors and claims about his longevity. Whatever the secret is, it seems to be working for him as he is ready to feature in the 19th playoff season of his career.

LeBron James faces backlash for his comments on Memphis

LeBron James was featured in the latest episode of Bob Does Sports, a golfing content YouTube channel, where he suggested that the Memphis Grizzlies should be moved to Nashville due to the city’s lack of infrastructure. He said:

“You think I wanna do that sh**? Being in Memphis on a random a** Thursday? I’m not the first guy to talk about it in the NBA”

James’ statement about Memphis and its hotel, Hyatt, has received backlash from Grizzlies fans on social media. The team’s head coach, Tuomas Iisalo, did not agree with the 4-time NBA Finals MVP’s stance on Memphis and called him out. He said, via ESPN:

“I can say from my own perspective that I have the complete opposite, 180-degree perspective on that. The Memphis where we have arrived less than two years ago has been very warm. Very welcoming.”

The recent rumor about LeBron James’ health hacks will only fuel the voices against him after his controversial take on the Grizzlies. Meanwhile, the Lakers have already clinched a playoff berth and look forward to making a deep run in the postseason. James hopes to earn another ring before he hangs up his sneakers for good.
