Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing driver Brad Keselowski took a dig at Carson Hocevar after the NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono on Sunday. Fans took to social media and bashed Keselowski for his remarks about the No.77 Spire Motorsports driver.
Carson Hocevar was bashed by many after Michigan for causing a wild wreck that took out many contenders for the race win. Many drivers have also raised concerns over Hocevar’s aggression and how the same has got him positions, but also led to wrecks.
Brad Keselowski, speaking on the Prime Video broadcast, took a jab at Carson Hocevar as he said,
“When you come into the sport as a new driver with the talent that Carson Hocevar has, you’re going to make some mistakes and things are going to happen. The challenge I see for Carson is there’s only so long you can get away with this… before it comes back to bite you.”
“And I’ve heard a lot of comparisons to Kyle Busch or Dale Earnhardt, the Intimidator, all those different things. The difference is Carson only has one win. He has 90-plus starts, one win. If you want to compare yourself to Dale Earnhardts and Kyle Busches, you have to win,” added Brad Keselowski
Fans reacted to Keselowski’s remarks about Carson Hocevar as they said,
“Quit whining, Brad”
Another wrote, “Speak when you win something this year, Brad.”
“Bro YOU need to win; you haven’t won at all this year, but your upset that other people are comparing hocevar to other drivers,” mentioned another
Some detailed how Brad Keselowski has retired from the last three races.
“Brad should be focused on just finishing a race,” mentioned a user
Another wrote, “BK can’t hard key finish a race, much less top 10”
“BK already wrecked out of Pocono. Back to the booth,” wrote another

Brad Keselowski reacts to race ending wreck at Pocono

Brad Keselowski started the NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono from the rear of the grid for unapproved adjustments. The No.6 Ford’s progress was halted on Lap 47 in the massive wreck in the start-finish straight.
Austin Hill, Josh Berry and Shane van Gisbergen going three wide instigated the crash, with Bubba Wallace and Brad Keselowski being the bystanders. Wallace tried avoiding the wreck in front, which resulted in him driving into Keselowski, who sustained serious damage to the front of the car & retired.
“I thought we had a decent pace and were just trying to bide our time. The race is going to crack open in different strategies and just try not to… the guys run really stupid races where they’re three wide in Lap 5 ina race where the strategy is going to reshuffle the field three more times, so, you’re just trying not to get caught up in their junk. I missed the first wave of their junk but not the second,” said Keselowski.
The DNF at Pocono has pushed Brad Keselowski out of the Top 16 spots required to make ‘The Chase’.
