UNC’s Caleb Wilson Drops 3-Word Snipe for Jon Scheyer’s Duke

The rivalry between North Carolina Tar Heels and the Duke Blue Devils runs deep in the history. Two teams are the high standards of college basketball. Every player joining either of the sides is always looking forward to a possible game.

The players from both teams like to keep the rivalry alive. Caleb Wilson is just another passionate UNC fan before a talented star. Wilson has often expressed that he does not like Duke. And he has once again reignited that emotion.

He was asked what should his future NBA fanbase should know about him before the draft. He answered, “I don’t like Duke.” The interviewer laughed and joked that they cannot have that in interview.

In the last four matchups between Duke and UNC, both teams have 2 wins each. In their last encounter, Wilson did not play and Duke won 76-61 on March 7th earlier this year. Unfortunately he suffered a season ending hand injury.

However, one month before that on February 7th, Caleb had an impressive performance. He scored 23 points, shooting 8-12 from the field and 6-6 from free throws. He also had 4 rebounds and 2 steals. North Carolina won that game 71-68.

Where can Caleb Wilson land in the NBA?

Wilson is projected to be fourth overall pick. The Chicago Bulls are expected to draft the North Carolina star. His NBA draft combine measurements impressed multiple teams. He measured 6’9.25″ barefoot and 211 lbs.

He has proven to be an elite athlete, with efficient scoring ability. If Bulls end up drafting him, they will be adding an explosive player to their roster. Wilson averaged 19.8 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists despite getting his season cut short due to injury.
