Finley Bizjack Transfer Portal: 5 Potential Landing Spots for Butler Guard

Not only did the Butler Bulldogs not make it to March Madness this year, but they will also lose one of their best scorers once the transfer portal has opened. Star guard Finley Bizjack, who leads the team in scoring, has announced that he will be entering the transfer portal once it opens on April 7.

He only has one year of eligibility left and may be looking for a team where he could shine even further.

Finley Bizjack averaged 17.1 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game on 42.6% field-goal percentage. Individually, he did well while at Butler as a junior guard, though his efforts could not lift the Bulldogs, ending the season with a 16-16 record and getting eliminated in the first round of the Big East Tournament.

5 Teams Finley Bizjack Could Go To Via the Transfer Portal

    Villanova Wildcats

Villanova did pretty well this season, and despite this, it got a lower seed. The Wildcats are in need of a pure scorer, and it showed in their one and only March Madness game where they lost to Utah State. Finley Bizjack could be their answer, and they can develop him to hone his offensive skills even more.

    Texas Longhorns

The Texas Longhorns were counted out early but had one good Cinderella run. This could mean that the school might be focusing more on its basketball program, and improvements can be made. With that, Finley Bizjack could come home to his home state and play for the Longhorns and help improve their scoring output.

    Florida Gators

The Gators became one of the four No. 1 seeds in March madness, only to lose to No. 9 Iowa. Like many of the teams here, they lacked a good scorer, and this is where Bizjack could come in and bring a veteran scoring experience to the former national champs.

    Kansas Jayhawks

Freshman sensation Darryn Peterson is projected to leave Bill Self’s squad as a one-and-done and enter the NBA draft. This should open up a good spot to add a scorer, and Bizjack could get some quality coaching from somebody like Bill Self.

    North Carolina Tar Heels

Bizjack has raised his profile a lot this year, and he could target the Tar Heels as a destination and become a blue blood. The team is expected to have a new coach soon, so things are bound to change, and this rebuilding could get him into the roster via the transfer portal.
