    Looking at this list, it’s obvious that it takes an immaculate job to create one of the nation’s longest active college football win streaks. These teams have shown they have what it takes against whichever opponent stands before them. Some even stretch over years and seasons.

    Here are the longest active win streaks in college football.

    This list previously included a whopping 29 games won by Georgia, one of the longest in recent history and certainly the longest win streak in the College Football Playoff era.

    The Bulldogs had won back-to-back National Championships before losing to Alabama in the 2023 SEC Championship Game. Michigan broke Alabama’s win streak while Washington snapped Texas’s streak.

    Washington had represented the Pac-12 on this list, entering the national title game. The Huskies met another 14-0 team in the College Football Playoff National Championship, taking on the 14-0 Michigan Wolverines.

    Washington had the longest active win streak entering that game, but had won 10 of their 19 straight victories by 10 or fewer points. The Wolverines dominated the Huskies in the national title game, increasing their lead over the Arizona Wildcats by yet another game.

    Michigan hasn’t lost a regular season game since the 2021 season, but a College Football Playoff loss to TCU in 2022 snapped what would have been a nearly 30-game win streak at this point.
