The NIL Value of LaNorris Sellers

According to On3, Sellers’ NIL value currently sits at $3.7 million. He has signed deals and partnered with several companies, with the likes of EA Sports, Palmetto Autographs, and NIL collective Garnet Trust each coming to terms with Sellers on new deals.

In December, Sellers signed a deal with Garnet Trust that ensures he will be playing for South Carolina in 2025.

Is Sellers One of the Nation’s Highest-Paid Players?

Although Sellers is not specifically the nation’s highest-paid player, he is among the group of highest-paid players.

Texas quarterback Arch Manning is currently making over $6.5 million in NIL money as he is set to become the team’s starter this upcoming season. Miami transfer quarterback Carson Beck is making $4.2 million after he was able to make the move from Georgia this offseason.

Ohio State superstar wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, fresh off helping Ohio State win the national title last season, is making $4.0 million in NIL.

So, even though Sellers is not the highest-paid player at his position, he is in a realm with some great players.

    Sellers’ Outstanding 2024 Season

In his freshman season, Sellers showed off his potential often for the Gamecocks.

Sellers completed over 65% of his passes, threw for 2,534 yards, and tossed 18 touchdowns on his way to becoming the SEC Freshman of the Year. The South Carolina native also ran for 674 yards and seven touchdowns.

If the Gamecocks want to take the next step under head coach Shane Beamer, Sellers will be the key to that. In arguably the toughest conference in America, he is going to have to produce week in and week out.
