The Utah State Aggies finished just under .500 after a loss in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in 2023. It’s a new era in Logan, though, as former head coach Blake Anderson was dismissed in July, and Nate Dreiling was promoted to lead the Aggies.
Dreiling and quarterback Spencer Petras will lead the Aggies in 2024 as they look to return to another bowl game.
They’ll start their season off with a home game against the FCS Robert Morris Colonials on Saturday, Aug. 31. The Colonials finished 4-7 last season, including a 2-4 conference record.
The team from Pennsylvania is rejoining the Northeast Conference in 2024 after it left for the Big South in 2020. The Colonials will look for a bounceback season starting Saturday in Logan, Utah.
