Pebble Beach is hosting the PGA Tour’s stars once again with the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am serving as the first Signature Event of 2026. And as always that brings up the same question for fans and amateurs alike: how much does it actually cost to play there?

The short answer is that Pebble Beach is expensive and the final bill depends heavily on how you plan your visit.

As of now the base green fee at Pebble Beach Golf Links is $675 per round. That rate is valid through March 31, 2026, after which it will rise to $695. But the green fee alone does not tell the full story.

If you want to book a tee time more than 48 hours in advance, Pebble Beach requires you to stay on property. That means booking at least two nights at one of their resorts, such as The Lodge at Pebble Beach, The Inn at Spanish Bay, or Casa Palmero. During busier months, especially from September to November, the minimum stay jumps to three nights for weekend tee times.

Rooms at those resorts start at around $800 per night. Once you add that to the green fee, the minimum cost to play Pebble Beach usually comes out to roughly $2,275, and that’s before caddie fees, carts, tips or taxes.

There is however a less expensive option for those willing to take a risk. Pebble Beach does release some tee times within 48 hours that don’t require a resort stay. If you manage to land one you’ll pay the green fee plus tax and a $60 cart fee. This option works best for singles or twosomes since open foursomes are rare on short notice.

For players looking for a strong alternative, Spyglass Hill Golf Course offers more flexibility. Tee times there can be booked up to three months in advance without staying on property making it a popular backup option while attempting to secure a Pebble Beach slot closer to the date.

Whether you plan months ahead or try your luck at the last minute playing Pebble Beach is never cheap. But for many golfers the chance to walk one of the most famous courses in the world makes the cost worth it.

Everything you need to know about the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am field in 2026

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am brings together one of the strongest fields of the early 2026 PGA Tour season, with several of the game’s biggest names set to tee it up on the Monterey Peninsula.

Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy lead the field. McIlroy returns as the defending champion and is making his first start of the year in the United States, while Scheffler is looking to build on an already solid start to his season.

Justin Rose is also part of the lineup after his recent win at the Farmers Insurance Open pushed him up to third in the world rankings. The Englishman previously won this event in 2023.

Several players have entered through sponsor exemptions, including Tony Finau, Billy Horschel, Keith Mitchell and Sahith Theegala. Jordan Spieth earned his spot through his FedEx Fall performance, while Rickie Fowler qualified after finishing inside the top 50 of last season’s FedEx Cup standings, securing entry into all signature events in 2026.

The tournament will be played over 72 holes of stroke play with no cut. All 80 professionals will be paired with amateurs for the first two rounds, which will be split between Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill.

The winner will earn 700 FedEx Cup points and take home $3.6 million from the $20 million purse.
