The renowned golfer has been out of the game for quite some time, but he recently hinted that his return could take place at the 2026 Masters, which will be held at Augusta National in six weeks. Woods was recently the topic of conversation on the Subpar Podcast, when the two golf analysts discussed the potential surrounding his return.
Colt Knost shared his thoughts on whether Woods will return to the Masters in 2026. He outlined the scenario and how he, too, believes there is a significant probability this will happen. Knost reported that at the Genesis Invitational, Woods was able to move correctly and even climb and descend stairs, indicating that he is in good health and can return, but can he play four rounds?
Knost stated that this is a significant question, and whether the golfer returns or not, one thing is certain: Woods is practicing some swings at home, and while the 82-time PGA Tour champion has stated that they are not good, the Masters is still six weeks away. According to an X post from SiriusXM, Knost stated,
“I honestly am leaning towards, I think there’s a better chance he plays than he doesn’t. Just seeing him move around out there, his attitude, just his… everything. He just looks good right now, and he’s going up and down the steps there on 18 at Riviera. I mean, walking is the biggest issue for him. And he said he’s been making full swings at home. They haven’t been great, but it’s Tiger Woods. We got some time. We got six weeks until the Masters.”

The fifteen-time major winner, Tiger Woods, was recently seen at the Golf on CBS broadcast table. He was chatting about the Masters with Trevor Immelman, and he once again cleared that he has a chance to make a comeback at the Augusta National Golf Club. According to an X post by Golf on CBS, Immelman initially asked,
“Is there a possibility that you could get out there?”
In response to this, Woods stated,
“There is”
Following that, the golfer was asked if he would be able to return to competitive tournaments before the Masters, to which he clearly raised his arms and stated that he had no idea. He even stated that he does not know if he will return to the PGA Tour, the Seniors Tour, or any other circuit.
