After several ups and downs, Bryson DeChambeau has secured his first win of the 2026 season at the LIV Golf Singapore. The golfer was in amazing form from the first round, and after four days, he finished his campaign with a total score of 14 under par. While his score was good, DeChambeau finished tied for first place with Richard T. Lee.
In the playoffs, Bryson DeChambeau played it safe and shot an even par on the first hole; on the other hand, Lee made a bogey, handing the win to the Crushers GC captain. Following the win, DeChambeau discussed it in an interview, stating that he, too, was disappointed with what happened with Lee as he played such a tremendous game of golf throughout the tournament. According to Fox Sports, he said,
“Absolutely hated it for Richard. He’s been playing some unbelievable golf. He’s beat me in a few of the rounds I’ve played with him and he’s a stellar player and I wanted to go another hole with him as much as you know winning is great you know I have a lot of respect for Richard and the way he golfs his ball out there and it was quite impressive.”
DeChambeau went on to explain,
“I was coming down the last three holes and I’m like all right I think I’m one ahead of everybody and seeing Richard go and play the way he did finishing out. He’s a real superstar and the league should be really proud to have him on as a wildcard.”
Bryson DeChambeau received $4 million from the $20 million singles competition prize pool. On the other hand, Richard T. Lee will receive a total of $2.25 million for coming in second place.
Bryson DeChambeau is eager about the next LIV tournament

Following a huge tournament in Singapore, LIV golfers will now head to South Africa for the first LIV tournament on the African continent. Bryson DeChambeau also discussed the event during the post-tournament press conference on March 15, suggesting that the tournament will be amazing, and he is looking forward to playing in it. The golfer also highlighted the fact that he has never played in South Africa and has only heard about the course.
According to Asap Sports, DeChambeau said,
“Yeah, it’s going to be fantastic. I’ve never been there. I’ve heard only great things from numerous people, Gary Player, Louis, Ernie, Charl, you name it, Dean, Branden. They’ve all raved about it, so I’m looking forward to getting down there and hopefully giving them a show. LIV has been providing a great show this year, so hopefully we can continue to keep that going.”
The LIV Golf South Africa will begin on March 19 at The Club at Steyn City in Johannesburg. The event will have a standard 57-golfer field and a $30 million prize pool, with $20 million going to the singles tournament and $10 million going to the teams.
