Anthony Kim had one of the best starts of the 2026 season. The golfer finished 3rd in the LIV Golf Promotions tournament to make one of the biggest comebacks to the circuit. He was relegated by the Saudi-backed league in 2025 after a string of underperformance. However, since then, he has worked hard to improve his skills and shown his work on the golf course.
Flushing It Golf, on X, recently published the moment Kim stood on the final hole of the LIV Golf Promotions and made a birdie to qualify. Interestingly, Kim reposted this X post, saying it was his favorite career moment till now. The golfer stated that the reason it is so important to him is that it was all or nothing at the time.
The X post by Kim read,
“This might be my favorite moment in my golfing career YET. All or nothing. 1% BETTER”
Anthony Kim concluded his weekend campaign in the 2026 LIV Golf Promotions with a total score of 5 under par. He became the third golfer to receive Wild Card exemptions in each of the 2026 season’s LIV tournaments. In addition to him, the winner Richard T. Lee (11 under par) and Bjorn Hellgren (who placed second with a total score of 6 under par) will also receive the Wild Card exemptions.
Following this performance, Kim made an intriguing statement, explaining that he is playing to show himself rather than to prove to anyone else. As reported by Golf Week, he said,
“Yeah, it feels great. You know, I’m not here to prove everybody wrong. I’m here to prove myself right. I’ve had so much support behind me, the last two years since I’ve been back. I’m so grateful that I’m back on this stage”
Apart from this, Kim recently addressed all of the abuse and love he received.
