The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am’s unique format, which pairs amateurs and celebrities with PGA Tour professionals, has led to several big names participating in the event. The list includes entertainment icon Frank Sinatra, comedian Bill Murray, NFL quarterback Joe Montana and legendary actor/director Clint Eastwood.

Notably, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is among the latest additions to the list. The 46th governor of the state, affiliated with the Seminole Golf Club, enters the contest with a reported handicap of 10, according to Golfweek. For the unversed, the 47-year-old politician will be one of the biggest names hitting the greens this weekend.

DeSantis is set to tee off on Thursday at the Pebble Beach Golf Links course with eight-time Tour winner Billy Horschel. The duo will take their first tee at 9:50 AM ET alongside the pairing of Max Greyserman and amateur David Solomon. They will follow the pairing of Max McGreevy – David Beam and Matti Schmid – Patrick Hamill, teeing up at 9:37 AM.

DeSantis will be joined on Thursday by other big-name celebrities, including former SF 49ers player Harris Barton, country music artist Jake Owen, and Pebble Beach Company Co-Chairman Heidi Ueberroth. However, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, returning to the golf field after a stellar outing at the 2026 WM Phoenix Open pro-am, remains the highlight of the celebrities.
